iGov Community Website Modules
All of our website packages include a content management system, website hosting, and support. In addition, the following modules are included.
Modules | Description |
Bid Posting | Post bids on your website to simplify communication with vendors. |
Business Directory | Create a listing for businesses located in and around your community. A listing may include a link to the business website, a coupon or discount offered by the business, and contact information for the business. Possible Revenue: You can charge a monthly or annual fee for providing a listing for a business. You may also package it with your business license fees to either increase business license fees or to incentivize more business to actually get a business license. |
City Code | Provides an easy way for residents to search your city code when they have questions about building requirements, pet regulations, commercial possibilities, and so on. |
Contact Us | Quickly modify contact information including address, phone number, fax number, and email addresses. |
Content Management System | Provides staff access to modify content on any page on the website. |
Customizable Pages | Easily create new web pages and add any content you need to them. Example pages: Photo Gallery, CERT, Library, Fire Department, Police Department, and Election Results. |
Document Repository | Add any type of file to the Files area of the system, including PDF files, videos, etc. |
Email Notifications | Members of your community can request to be notified by email about items of interest such as agendas, code changes to a particular zone, proposed developments in a particular area of town. |
Events Calendar | Events from all departments will be accessible on a single, unified calendar. |
Forms Development Tool | Build your own online forms to collect information from the members of your community. |
Frequently Asked Questions | Many members of your community often have the same questions or are hearing the same rumors. This module will allow you to post any questions you feel are important so that everyone can access the answers they are looking for in one central location. |
Job Listings | All departments will be able to post jobs to a central employment opportunities page. |
Multiple Login Accounts | Create as many accounts as desired for elected officials and authorized staff to manage and modify the content on your website. |
Newsletters | Upload newsletters to your community website. Newsletters can be emailed to residents who have submitted their email addresses. Possible Savings: You can potentially save money by using email to deliver your newsletters rather than printing and mailing newsletters. |
Opinion Polls | Government officials can find the pulse of the community concerning civic issues. |
Site Search and Search Log | A site-wide search box powered by Google's search engine will be accessible from every page. Website administrators can see what items people have searched for to ensure your website has the content that your residents need. |
Slide Show | Engage site visitors with a slideshow of your community's favorite images. |
